NEWTOWN — Mrs. Curra E. Galloway, 78, of Bradenton, Fla., died at 11:05 a.m. Thursday in Community Hospital at Williamsport, where she had been a patient three weeks. She had formerly resided in Mellott and Newtown before moving to Florida six years ago. She was a druggist and artist, and had operated a drug store in Newtown for 20 years. She was a member of Newtown United Methodist Church. She was born April 15, 1894, at Weaubleau, Mo., a daughter of William B. and Elizabeth Hunt Brown. She was married in March, 1949, to Albert W. Galloway, who preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, W. C. Fry of Attica; a stepson, Lowell Galloway of Attica; two grandchildren, Mrs. Elissa Barnhart of Indiana State University and W. C. "Bill" Fry of San Francisco, and two brothers, James B. Brown of Thibadoux, La., and Samuel A. Brown of Sierra Madre, Calif. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sybil Fry. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Maus Chapel at Attica, with Rev. Vernon Lallement officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
